UU's Sports studies student Ciaran Collins has been selected along with his younger brother Noel (European Youth silver medalist, 2000m S/C) to compete in the World Mountain Running Trophy for Northern Ireland.

Jason Wilson who is due to join the University of Ulster in September has also been selected for the Junior Men's team.

Over a testing, wet and slippery course round Kilbroney Forest, Rostrevor athletes competed for places on the Northen Ireland World Trophy team, with the selected team as follows:
